I've already opposed Argentina in the Qualifying Market and they appear to be over-priced again. I will take Serbia to nick a Goal and shut up Shop. Serbia to keep a clean sheet is worth an interest.

Its one of My weak points in Betting. I got stuffed in the First Game and then instead of calling it a Day, I jump in both Feet on the next. No doubt I'll oppose them again in the next round, I've already had a knee-jerk and laid them outright. My betting is blurred by the dodgy way they took the Falklands, but The Crybabies will be back to their usual antics when their not playing 11 dustbins. :drink:

Although I only lost £116 today things aint going well, I've suffered from Greedy Man Syndrome over the last few Days which has not only cost me profits but lost about £500 in the process. After Rule 1 of making betting pay, which is to have a deep hatred of giving money to Books comes Rule 2, know when your in the Zone. Well at the moment I'm not, so I will go back to basics until it passes, no more Bets on the World Cup until then. :drink:

I wish, No I laid the Bet. The problem is with people not accustomed to bookmaking parlance, which seems to happen a lot on these Forums. Basically, I bet or back a position with whoever takes the Bet, be it a Book or yourself on an Exchange. When I'm in a position to take a Bet on an Exchange or I'm a Book, then I'm laying (LAY) the bet.

I bet you $10 its heads, you have just laid me $10 its heads,
You as a Book will Lay an Even $10 it comes up Heads and as a Punter, I will bet $10 its Tails. Hope thats clear.
